Tech Censorship Hurts Us All

Censorship has always been a dirty word in America, but over the past few years, it’s become increasingly acceptable for tech companies to censor or deplatform prominent people and organizations who hold controversial or unpopular opinions. Free speech is not just about what laws the government can or can’t pass. It’s a bedrock principle absolutely necessary to a free society. Whether censorship is coming from the government or private sector is less important than our attitude toward free speech in general. Free the People creative director Sam Martin tackles this controversial issue in the latest episode of Freedom Over Fear.
