The Unstoppable Human Spirit

If you watch the news, you’d think the world is coming to an end. All we hear about is the coronavirus pandemic, medical shortages, food shortages, and we forget about the intrepid nature of the human spirit to come together under one goal, one flag, one cause. When the regulations and laws are stripped away to allow businesses to innovate, retool, and activate their millions of workers, something brilliant happens. People work together for better solutions. Are we really as divided as they’re making us out to be? Maybe we’re more united than ever. Created by Sam Martin.

Government micromanagement and control is the kind of government we escaped when we left our country of origin. It breaks my heart to see people rising up to erase the past and do a do over. It is truly sad that young people do not know the wonderful history of this nation, nor the great men who built it. They were not perfect men, for there is non such, but they did formulate the Constitution, and gave us a legacy to be proud of, for the most part. Slavery is evil, but America did not institute it. It is centuries old, and was there in biblical times. God bless America, and keep it free. Freedom was instituted by God himself, but left it up to us to preserve it.

I must admit that I was disappointed that the focus of your film was not as I had expected on individuals and communities doing their bit to combat COVID hysteria and protect their people, neighbors and livelihoods, but a selection of not very salubrious corporations (eg Uber) who make profits or asset fortunes by gouging their workers. I’m not a socialist, but I don’t think corporate leviathans like Facebook, google, apple et al are doing much for freedom or for the individual – they are the elites who are crushing the ordinary working man and woman, not their liberators. They could try paying a fair share of their taxes for starters.

Free The People! This spoke to me…gave me hope and an urge to come together and find the silver lining. Everyone is so angry, it’s a choice, I choose to be #libertycurious and band together with my fellow American Citizens. Thank you #mattkibbe
