“Latinx” Is Offensive

“Latinx” is a term that was recently coined for the Latin American community in the United States. Martha Bueno, along with many other Latin Americans, find it offensive. It’s something they can’t say in their own language. If you were to say “Latinx” in Spanish, it would be “Latino equis,” and that just doesn’t roll off the tongue. Besides that, Spanish is gendered. There’s no need for it. You can just say Latin American or Latino, and that’s all encompassing. Catch Martha Bueno on the latest episode of the Kibbe on Liberty podcast with Matt Kibbe.
