In 2013, Ross Ulbricht was sentenced to double life in prison plus 40 years without the possibility of parole for his involvement in the Silk Road website. His mother, Lyn Ulbricht, began fighting for her son’s freedom and found early support at PorcFest, an annual liberty gathering organized by The Free State Project.
