Nice that this guest faces the reality, and encourages everybody else to do the same, that no government can guarantee your safety or security, even when they promise to do so, and even when a document charges them to do so.
However, how is this guy, a former Green Beret who has seen battle against our supposed enemies (the terrorists, who we largely created) not part of the problem? Has he repudiated his service (unlikely), recognizing that he was fighting for a lie?
It’s great that someone who has seen real battle is counseling others to avoid war and seek peace. In this respect Tulsi Gabbard must be commended. But, it would be better if nobody volunteered for their stupid wars.
