Joel Davis
Joel Davis is the Social Media Coordinator at Free the People. Prior to joining Free the People, Joel worked as a political activist, volunteering across the country in various races. He worked as a campaign coordinator with FreedomWorks, was chosen as FreedomWorks Activist of the Year in 2013, and participated as a member of their Activist Advisory Council.
Joel transitioned from activist to politician when he won his race for City Council in 2014. In 2016, Joel ran for Mayor and won with over 70% of the vote.
He lives in West Virginia with his wife, Danielle, their two dogs, and blue & gold macaw. When not working on Free the People’s social media, Joel is an advocate for medical cannabis (he is a patient himself). He also helps his Mom run Marv’s Place Restaurant in Sardis, Ohio.
